What we collect

MyPhatshala has no accounts and no sign-up forms, and does not ask for your name, email or phone number to use the lessons. Code you type in the lesson editor runs in your own browser and is not sent to us.

Your browser may store small preferences on your own device, such as light or dark mode.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Third-party services

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. If a lesson's code runner uses an external service to compile code, the code you run is sent to that service only to produce the output.

Children

The site is meant for students of all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
