Watch Java come alive.

Ratta nahi, samajh.

Every lesson is a story, a two-screen animation (what you see + what the computer does), code you run in your browser, and the real interview questions companies ask.

What is MyPhatshala?

A classroom where the computer explains itself

Most tutorials show you code and its output. Everything in between stays hidden. MyPhatshala opens that hidden part up, one animated step at a time, so you understand why the code works and not only that it works.

Riya's first Java class

Riya typed System.out.println("Namaste!"), pressed Run, and “Namaste!” appeared. Her friend asked, “But how did it get there?” She had no answer.

Her teacher drew two boxes on the board. The left one showed what Riya saw. The right one showed what the computer did: the compiler, the bytecode, the JVM, the memory. Suddenly every line made sense.

That blackboard is what every MyPhatshala lesson tries to be.

// every lesson = a story + two views + code you can run
  • Animated, not just writtenWatch variables move into memory, loops repeat and objects get created, step by step.
  • Run the code yourselfEdit the example, press Run, and see how the output changes. It runs safely in your browser, with nothing to install.
  • Real-world examples you knowUPI payments, IRCTC bookings, Swiggy orders, WhatsApp: see where each concept is used in apps you open every day.

The MyPhatshala method

Every lesson follows the same 9 steps

Once you know the pattern, you know exactly where to look, whether you're learning for the first time or revising the night before an exam or interview.

The story

A short real-life problem that shows why the concept exists.

Definition

The formal, exam-ready definition, followed by the same idea in simple words.

Types and ways to use it

Every variant and form, side by side, so you know all the options.

Step-by-step

Exactly how to do it, one numbered step at a time.

Two-view animation

What you see on screen next to what happens behind it: memory, the JVM, the data flow. Play, pause and step through at your own speed.

5–6 real-world uses

Where this concept is used in banking, shopping, travel and chat apps.

Run the code

A live editor in a safe sandbox. Change a value, press Run, and see the difference.

Line-by-line tracer

Each line lights up in turn and shows what changed in memory at that step.

Quiz and quick revision

Check your understanding with a short quiz and a one-screen revision card.
